Traffic Control Plan
Event Schedule
Proposed hours of traffic control activities:
Friday, June 28
th, 2024
• Post ‘No Parking’ signs on Ventura Boulevard between Home Depot driveway entrance and Springville Drive.
Wednesday, July 3rd, 2024
• Pyrotechnics crew onsite to build/place mortar racks for fireworks.
Thursday, July 4th, 2024
8:00 a.m.
• Cones & barricades staging.
• Fireworks arrive on site.
• Closure of Camarillo Center Drive (A&B) between the driveway entrance at Regal Edwards Cinema and the self-storage facility.
5:30 p.m.
• Traffic control briefing with staff and volunteers.
6:00 p.m.
• Closure of driveway entrance on Camarillo Center Drive (C), approximately 250 feet east of Las Posas Road.
• Closure of first driveway on Ventura Boulevard, closest to Las Posas Road, (D) entrance to the Cracker Barrel restaurant.
• Right turn pocket into driveway to be coned off.
• Stop signs to be placed on Ventura Boulevard at Factory Stores Drive. • Stop signs to be placed on Ventura Boulevard at Camarillo Center Drive. • Stop signs to be placed on Camarillo Center Drive at Factory Stores Drive. • Closure of Driveways (E) on Ventura Boulevard, closest to the Command Post, including right turn lane into driveway.
• Closure of Driveway (F) on Ventura Boulevard servicing the Regal Edwards Cinema, including right turning lane into driveway.
• Closure of Driveway (G) on Camarillo Center Drive across from Hughes Drive closed including left turning lane into driveway.
• Cone off the left turning lane from Plaza Del Rancho onto Camarillo Center Drive.
• Cone off right turning lane from Plaza La Vista onto Camarillo Center Drive. • Cone off right turning lane on northbound Las Posas Road into Camarillo Center Drive.
• Cone off left turn pocket on southbound Las Posas Road into Camarillo Center Drive.
7:45 p.m.
• Monitor the Outlets Promenade, Main Court, and Fashion Court to begin phased closures of full parking lots.
9:00 p.m.
• Beginning of 18-minute Fireworks Show.
• Eastbound Ventura Boulevard is closed between Las Posas Road and Camarillo Center Drive.
• All accessible driveways are configured by the Police Department to facilitate efficient and safe egress from the Premium Outlets.
10:00 p.m. or when deemed clear.
• Final clearing out of Outlets parking lots and begin breaking down traffic controls and remove barricades, signs, and cones.
