Agreement – First Amendment
BACKGROUND
NEOGOV is a cloud-based software provider that Human Resources utilizes to streamline services ranging from recruitment and job board management to onboarding and performance evaluations.
On May 26, 2021 the City and NEOGOV, entered into a three (3) year Agreement (CC Agreement 2021-113) with an annual renewal option thereafter. The agreement automatically renews for an additional successive one (1) year term, unless a 30-day notice to terminate is issued prior to the end of the Initial Term on 06/30/2024. Renewal of the software for the next five (5) years requires City Council approval, therefore a First Amendment to Agreement No 2021-113 is required. The ongoing renewal amounts for the next five (5) years with governmentjobs.com, Inc., dba NEOGOV, total cost amount not-to-exceed $127,291.77.
The software allows for an integrated applicant tracking, onboarding, and performance appraisal system utilized by Human Resources staff.
DISCUSSION
Several methods have been implemented by Human Resources resulting in more efficient and effective processes. This software has streamlined internal processes, providing an automated solution for managing job applications and simplifying the hiring process for both our team and prospective candidates. Our focus lies particularly in refining the recruitment, hiring, and performance evaluation processes to better serve both our staff and potential applicants. Utilizing NEOGOV's subscription to GovernmentJobs.com has expanded our reach in recruiting new talent, bolstering our ability to attract qualified individuals to join our workforce.

Staff requests that City Council consider the first amendment to the software agreement authorizing the City Manager to enter into a five (5) year agreement.

FISCAL IMPACT
