A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CAMARILLO APPROVING THE FINAL PAY ESTIMATE
AND ACCEPTING IMPROVEMENTS FOR TRAFFIC
SIGNAL IMPROVEMENTS AT LAS POSAS AND TEMPLE
– PROJECT NO. TS-5094
The City Council of the City of Camarillo resolves as follows:
SECTION 1:The City Council of the City of Camarillo finds and declares as follows:
A. On February 8, 2023, a contract was executed by Taft Electric Company for Traffic Signal Improvements at Las Posas and Temple – Project No. TS-5094.
B. Fidelity and Deposit Company of Maryland, Performance/Payment Bonds No. 9423019 in the amount of $752,280 was posted to guarantee completion of said improvements and to guarantee improvements for the required maintenance period.
C. The City Engineer has recommended acceptance of said improvements.
SECTION 2:Contract Pay Estimate No. 3 (Final) is approved and improvements under TS-5094 are accepted and shall be included in the appropriate city system.
SECTION 3:The Mayor is authorized to sign a Notice of Completion, and the City Clerk is directed to record said Notice in the office of the Ventura County Recorder.
