Subject: Economic Report by Investment Advisor
BACKGROUND
The City’s Investment Advisor, Chandler Asset Management, Inc. provides a monthly portfolio summary comprised of portfolio characteristics, account summary and top issuers which is included in the monthly investment report. On a quarterly basis, Chandler presents to the Investment Committee an economic update, account profile, consolidated information, portfolio holdings, and transactions that occurred.
DISCUSSION
Jayson Schmitt, Co-Chief Officer with Chandler Asset Management will present the Economic Report to the City Council on May 6, 2024 to provide context for economic conditions during the City’s FY 2024/25 budget development process.
FISCAL IMPACT
There is no budget impact as a result of this action.
RECOMMENDATION
Receive and file of verbal presentation.
