A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CAMARILLO APPROVING THE PLANS AND
SPECIFICATIONS AND NOTICE INVITING BIDS FOR
ADVANCED METERING INFRASTRUCTURE - PROJECT
NO. WT-5080
The City Council of the City of Camarillo resolves as follows:
SECTION 1:The City Council of the City of Camarillo finds and declares as follows:
A. The City is desirous of completing the public improvement project, Advanced Metering Infrastructure – Project No. WT-5080 (the “Project”).
B. The Project will assist the City in meeting water use efficiency objectives set by AB 1668 and SB 606 to achieve the State’s goal of Making Conservation a California Way of Life.
C. The Project further promotes public health, safety and welfare.
D. The Project meets multiple components of the City’s Sustainability Master Plan through reduction in vehicle miles travelled, reduction in GHG emissions and protection of natural resources.
E. Funds have been appropriated for year one (1) of this project in the preliminary FY 24-25 Budget. The City has conducted the necessary environmental review for the Project and a Categorical Exemption in conformance with CEQA has been signed and posted for the Project.
SECTION 2:City Council approves said project, approves the plans and specifications, adopts the Categorical Exemption CEQA finding pursuant to CEQA Guideline Section 15301 Part B for the Project.
SECTION 3:This resolution shall take effect immediately.
SECTION 4:The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution.
