Comments Dear Mayors & City Council. I am writing you today to beg that we do something to beautify Camarillo via the 101 Fwy. I honestly am embarrassed as people drive in and thru Camarillo via 101 Fwy that there is always tons of trash, litter along the freeways. The on ramps and off Ramps are terribly maintained in regards to plants/trees. Either the trees are over grown and not trimmed, weeds, bushes overgrown…our city looks a little like downtown hollywood area. We have an opportunity with this new federal funds to renovate the overpass at Los Posas and 101 Fwy. Can there please be consideration for some attractive design, identifying Camarillo placed on the sides of that bridge/Overpass. Something along the lines of what Westlake Village has done at Lindero Canyon? Or even
Callabassas? You are building this new Convention Center with 2 new hotels, wouldn’t it be wonderful if that overpass said Camarillo ??? I’m hoping some consideration of this nature can be done. As Camarillo is a beautiful city but you would never know it from the 101 fwy experience. Thank you
