Re: Letter of Protest for
RFP AT-2024-4, Water Testing and Analysis
Dear City Clerk,
Eurofins Eaton Analytical, LLC (Eurofins) is submitting this Letter of Protest due to the City recommendation that Eurofins recent bid submittal be rejected as non-responsive. Eurofins did submit suggested changes to the contract, but the few changes for negotiation were on the City form that dictated a space for bidders to include exceptions.
On Page 19 of the RFP document (also Page 13 of Bid Proposal Form) is a space at the bottom of the page for bidders to list exceptions to the proposal response. Had exceptions not been acceptable to include in our response, this space should have been removed to help avoid confusion. Now knowing exceptions are not allowed we would like to request the opportunity to re-submit our bid without exceptions.
Eurofins is hopeful that the City will consider our request to re-submit. We thank the City of Camarillo for your attention to this matter, and consideration.
