A. Minutes – Approve minutes of the meeting held April 2, 2024
Action to continue the approval of the consent item to the next Planning Commission Meeting.
PUBLIC COMMENTS
Vice-Chair Limon opened the public comments for any items not on the agenda.
However, no comments were received.
PUBLIC HEARINGS
B. Proposed Zoning Ordinance Text Amendment for Pet Cemetery Use in the P-O Zone Mike Cepak presented a PowerPoint Presentation on the proposed Ordinance.
Mike Cepak made himself available for questions which were answered to the Planning Commission’s satisfaction. Vice-Chair Limon opened the public hearing .
The applicant, Jeann Clark , answered the questions to the Planning Commission’s satisfaction. Vice-Chair Limon closed the public hearing and called for a resolution.

OTION to adopt a resolution recommending denial to the City Council of a request for a Zoning Ordinance Text Amendments from Ivy Lawn Memorial Park for the amendment to Chapter 19.22 of the Camarillo Municipal Code to allow for Pet Cemetery use in the Professional Office (P-O) Zone.
Murphy moved, Davidson seconded.

DIRECTOR'S REPORT
David Sanchez reported that the Airport North Specific Plan was unanimously approved by City Council at their April 24, 2024 meeting. He also informed the Commissioners that two items are tracking for the May 14, 2024, meeting.
COMMISSION COMMENTS
Commissioner Davidson stated that he will be absent for the May 14, 2024, meeting.
