Subject: Resolution Approving Final Pay Estimate and Accepting Improvements, Camarillo Public Library Exterior Painting AS-2023-5
BACKGROUND
On May 6, 2024, the City Council awarded an agreement to Perfection Painting Corp, for specification AS-2023-5, Camarillo Public Library Exterior Painting in the amount of $99,000.
DISCUSSION
The exterior painting process began June 11, 2024 and was complete July 31, 2024. One Change Order was approved in the amount of $550 utilizing the authorized contingency.
The total agreement amount is $99,550.
Staff recommends a Resolution approving the Final Pay Estimate and accepting improvements. The Resolution also authorizes the Mayor to sign the Notice of Completion and directs the City Clerk to record the Notice with the Ventura County Recorder.
FISCAL IMPACT
Funds for the Final Pay Estimate for the Camarillo Public Library Exterior Painting are included in the General Fund Library Facilities & Operations, Account No. 101-5753- 468.36-03 in the amount of $99,550.
CEQA DETERMINATIONS
City staff has determined, in accordance with Section 15061(b)(3) of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines, that approving pay estimates and accepting improvements are not subject to CEQA review because it can be seen with certainty that there is no possibility that approving pay estimates and accepting improvements have a significant effect on the environment.

RECOMMENDATION
1. Find approving pay estimates and accepting improvements exempt from review under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Section 15061(b)(3) of the CEQA Guidelines; and
2. Adopt a Resolution approving the final pay estimate and accepting improvements; and
3. Authorize Mayor to sign the Notice of Completion.
