Subject: Resolution Approving Final Pay Estimate No. 2 and Accepting Improvements, Camarillo Ranch House Barn Improvements AS- 2023-2
BACKGROUND
On June 12, 2024, the City Council awarded an agreement to Bodagger Builders, for specification AS-2023-2, Camarillo Ranch House Barn Improvements in the amount of $154,125.
DISCUSSION
The work began July 1, 2024 and was completed August 13, 2024. One Change Order was approved in the amount of $18,194.20, utilizing the authorized contingency. The total agreement amount is $172,319.20.
Staff recommends a Resolution approving the Final Pay Estimate and accepting improvements. The Resolution also authorizes the Mayor to sign the Notice of Completion and directs the City Clerk to record the Notice with the Ventura County Recorder.
FISCAL IMPACT
Funds for the Final Pay Estimate for the Camarillo Ranch House Barn Improvements are included in the Camarillo Ranch Operations Capital Purchases, Account No. 815-4001- 449.91-11.
CEQA DETERMINATIONS
City staff has determined, in accordance with Section 15061(b)(3) of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines, that approving pay estimates and accepting improvements are not subject to CEQA review because it can be seen with certainty that there is no possibility that approving pay estimates and accepting improvements have a significant effect on the environment.

RECOMMENDATION
1. Find approving pay estimates and accepting improvements exempt from review under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Section 15061(b)(3) of the CEQA Guidelines; and
2. Adopt a Resolution approving the final pay estimate and accepting improvements; and
3. Authorize Mayor to sign the Notice of Completion.
