NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING AND NOTICE OF AVAILABILITY
OF FISCAL YEAR (FY) 2023-2024 CONSOLIDATED ANNUAL
PERFORMANCE EVALUATION REPORT (CAPER)
FOR COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT ACTIVITIES
Notice is hereby given to all interested parties that the City of Camarillo will make available its FY 202 3- 2024 CAPER for a mandatory minimum 15-day public review period from August 24 to September 11, 2024, in accordance with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) regulations. This report details the expenditures and accomplishments in the City’s Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program during the fiscal year which ended on June 30, 2024. The primary purpose of the CDBG program is to create viable communities, and to provide affordable housing, public services, and economic opportunities to low- and moderate-income households.
Persons wishing to review the CAPER may do so during regular City Hall business hours at Camarillo City Hall, 601 Carmen Drive, Camarillo CA, 93010. The CAPER will also be available for review on the City’s website at http://www.cityofcamarillo.org/CDBG.
The Camarillo City Council will conduct a public hearing, receive public comments, and review the CAPER at its September 11, 2024, regular meeting, at 5:00 p.m. or soon thereafter in the Camarillo Library Community Room, 4101 Las Posas Road, Camarillo, California. If authorized after City Council review, the CAPER will be submitted to HUD. All comments must be submitted no later than 3:00 p.m. on September 11, 2024, to:
