A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CAMARILLO APPROVING THE FINAL PAY ESTIMATE
AND ACCEPTING IMPROVEMENTS FOR NORTH
PLEASANT VALLEY GROUNDWATER DESALTER –
DETENTION BASIN IMPROVEMENTS - PROJECT NO. WT-
11-01
The City Council of the City of Camarillo resolves as follows:
SECTION 1:The City Council of the City of Camarillo finds and declares as follows:
A. On October 9, 2023, a contract was executed by Sam Hill & Sons, Inc. for North Pleasant Valley Groundwater Desalter – Detention Basin Improvements - Project No. WT-11-01.
B. US Specialty Insurance Company, Performance/Payment Bonds No. 1000814688 in the amount of $692,618 with increase rider, rider increases the bonds amount from $692,618 to $761,670.53, was posted to guarantee completion of said improvements and to guarantee improvements for the required maintenance period.
C. The City Engineer has recommended acceptance of said improvements.
SECTION 2:Contract Pay Estimate No. 6 (Final) is approved and improvements under WT-11-01 are accepted and shall be included in the appropriate city system.
SECTION 3:The Mayor is authorized to sign a Notice of Completion, and the City Clerk is directed to record said Notice in the office of the Ventura County Recorder.
