Subject: Amendment to City Council Policy 1.12, Community Grant Funding
BACKGROUND
The City Council’s Community Grant Funding Policy was adopted in November 1996.
The purpose of the policy is to establish guidelines for the City’s annual Community Service Grants and Community event Grants Funding.
DISCUSSION
On August 26, 2024, the Finance Committee met to review staff recommendations to City Council Policy 1.12, Community Grant Funding. Staff is recommending clarifying language regarding the use of funds.
Per Finance Committee, staff was directed to submit the proposed amended policy to the City Council for adoption.
FISCAL IMPACT
There is no budget impact as a result of this action.
RECOMMENDATION
Adopt amendment to City Council Policy 1.12, Community Grant Funding.
