Subject: Adopt a Resolution Exonerating Warranty Securities for the Camarillo Public Library Energy Efficiency Lighting Upgrade Project No. CH 5132, Specification AS-2022-13
BACKGROUND
On December 13, 2023, the City Council accepted the public improvements for the Camarillo Public Library Energy Efficiency Lighting Upgrade Project No. CH 5132, Specification AS-2022-13. Work was performed by ABM Electrical & Lighting Solutions, Inc.
DISCUSSION
Fidelity and Deposit Company of Maryland Performance/Payment Bonds No. 9378075 in the amount of $815,483.08 have been held for the required maintenance period and may be exonerated.
FISCAL IMPACT
There is no budget impact as a result of this action.
CEQA DETERMINATIONS
City staff has determined, in accordance with Section 15061(b)(3) of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines, that exonerating warranty securities is not subject to CEQA review because it can be seen with certainty that there is no possibility that exonerating warranty securities may have a significant effect on the environment.
RECOMMENDATION
1. Adopt a Resolution exonerating warranty securities for the Camarillo Public Library Energy Efficiency Lighting Upgrade Project No. CH 5132, Specification AS-2022-13 with ABM Electrical & Lighting Solutions, Inc.
