Subject: Planning Commission Appointments
BACKGROUND
Planning Commission members are appointed by the City Council for four-year terms. Two Planning Commission appointments expire in January 2025. Councilmembers Trembley and Kildee have requested the reappointment of their current Planning Commissioners for four-year terms.
DISCUSSION
The following recommendations for appointments to the Planning Commission are made:
•Councilmember Trembley recommends the reappointment of Tom Murphy. •Councilmember Kildee recommends the reappointment of David Edsall.
All appointees have indicated a willingness to continue serving as Planning Commissioners.
FISCAL IMPACT
There is no budget impact as a result of this action.
RECOMMENDATION
Adopt a Resolution reappointing Tom Murphy and David Edsall as Planning Commissioners for the City of Camarillo for four-year terms, set to expire in January 2029.
