Comments I feel this Urgency Ordinance is unnecessary at this time. There is ample evidence that Camarillo is not seeing excessive demand for ABC Type 20 Licenses. There is ample public
information available from the ABC's website. Comparing Camarillo to peer cities in Ventura County is not difficult.
Camarillo does not have an overly high density of Type 20 Licenses. Has there been an uptick to license activity? Perhaps.
However, it does not appear Camarillo is "over served".
Businesses should not be held hostage while the issue is studied.
I'm happy to volunteer and assist City Staff with analysis of available public information from the ABC.
