Methodology model which includes asset categories, prioritization factors, and proposed weights. The weights will allow staff to score existing and proposed projects across all categories in order to identify the highest priority projects to present to the City Council for discussion and approval during the budget approval process.

The Council supported the Project Prioritization Methodology model concept and provided feedback that the weights in the ranking process should include consideration of the Council’s values , the availability of funding, meet state and federal legal requirements, and that the process should provide flexibility for the City Council to adjust the weights.
