Subject: RPD-189M(3), Williams Homes (near the southwest corner of Petit Street and Village at the Park Drive) – Adopt a Resolution Exonerating Securities
BACKGROUND
RPD-189M(3) is a residential planned development with 96 multi-family apartments located near the southwest corner of Petit Street and Village at the Park Drive.
On April 14, 2021, the City Council of the City of Camarillo approved improvement plans, acknowledged receipt of agreements and securities, and authorized staff to process all documents for RPD-189M(3) at the location shown on the attached Location Map (Attachment 1).
On November 8, 2023, the City Council of the City of Camarillo accepted public improvements, warranty security and exonerated performance securities.
DISCUSSION
The Williams Homes development has been completed to the satisfaction of the City Engineer and the securities have been held for the required one-year period. The following securities may be exonerated: Philadelphia Indemnity Insurance Co Faithful Performance/Labor Bond No. PB03010407256 in the amount of $22,500 for grading and Philadelphia Indemnity Insurance Co Warranty Bond No PB03010407257-A in the amount of $28,478 for water improvements.
FISCAL IMPACT
There is no fiscal impact as a result of this action.
RECOMMENDATION
Adopt a Resolution exonerating securities for RPD-189M(3), Williams Homes.
