RESOLUTION NO. 2025-
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CAMARILLO APPROVING IMPROVEMENT PLANS,
ACKNOWLEDGING RECEIPT OF AGREEMENTS,
SECURITIES AND OTHER NECESSARY DOCUMENTS FOR
CPD-226M(5) COSTCO WHOLESALE.
The City Council of the City of Camarillo resolves as follows:
SECTION 1:The City Council of the City of Camarillo finds and declares as follows:
A. On December 5, 2023, the Camarillo Planning Commission conditionally approved CPD-226M(5).
B. On February 14, 2025, the Camarillo City Council held a Public Hearing to consider an appeal of the Planning Commission decision to approve CPD-226M(5). The City Council denied the appeal and upheld the decision to approve CPD-226M(5).
C. The City Engineer has caused to be written agreements and securities to guarantee completion of grading.
D. The City Engineer has caused an agreement to be executed stating the developer has retained a registered civil engineer to be responsible for field construction of this project as required by the Business and Professions Code.
SECTION 2:The recitals set forth above are true and correct.
SECTION 3:Agreements and Atlantic Specialty Insurance Company Faithful Performance/Labor and Materials Bonds No. 800042966 in the amount of $1,261,187 for streets, removals, drainage, and Liberty Mutual Insurance Company Faithful Performance/Labor and Material Bond No. 070225843 in the amount of $108,252 for grading and other necessary documents are acknowledged as received.
SECTION 4:The storm water agreements, license agreement, easements and dedication of water rights are approved, and the City Manager is authorized to sign said agreements and accept said dedications to the City of Camarillo on behalf of the City of Camarillo.
SECTION 5:The improvement plans are approved and the City Engineer is authorized to sign said plans and other necessary documents.
SECTION 6:The issuance of a Water Will-Serve letter is approved.
