Subject: Ratification of Appointment of Resident Commissioner – Area Housing Authority of the County of Ventura
BACKGROUND
The Area Housing Authority of Ventura County approved the reappointment of Angela Bradley as Resident Commissioner at their May 28, 2025, meeting. This appointment needs to be ratified by all jurisdictions.
DISCUSSION
The Area Housing Authority (AHA) posted notices of the vacancy for the Resident Commissioner.
Based on her commitment and experience, the AHA is requesting the City Council’s endorsement of the re-appointment of Angela Bradley to the position of Resident Commissioner for a two-year term from June 1, 2025, through May 31, 2027.
FISCAL IMPACT
There is no budget impact as a result of this action.

RECOMMENDATION
Ratify the appointment of Angela Bradley as Resident Commissioner to the Area Housing Authority of the County of Ventura.
