AGREEMENT NO. 2024-12A
FIRST AMENDMENT TO PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT
This First Amendment to Agreement No. 2024 -12A (Amendment) is entered into between the City of Camarillo, a California general law city and municipal corporation (City), and Charles Abbott Associates, Inc. (CAA), collectively referred to as the Parties.
The effective date of this Amendment is July 1, 2025.
RECITALS
A. On June 26, 2024, the City Council approved Professional Services Agreement No. 2024 -12 with CAA, establishing a three -year term with the option to extend for two additional one-year periods (Agreement), subject to City Council approval.
B. Charles Abbott Associates, Inc. provides Building and Safety services for the City, Community Development Department, including plan review and plan check, permit issuance, inspections and documentation.
C. Pursuant to Section 22.4 of the Agreement, the parties wish to modify the Agreement.
D. All capitalized terms not defined in this Amendment have the same meaning set forth in the Agreement.
Section 1. Scope and Performance of Services . Section 2.2 of the Agreement is amended to:
Consultant will furnish all labor, technical, administrative, professional and other personnel, supplies and materials, equipment, vehicles, transportation, workstation furniture (including chair s), tests, testing and analyses, calculations, and all other means whatsoever, except as otherwise expressly specified in this Agreement, necessary to perform the services required of Consultant under this Agreement. City will provide use of telephones, computers, printing/copying devices, office space, and facilities (conference rooms, restrooms, and breakroom) at no cost to Consultant.
Section 2. Compensation and Payment Section 5. Subject to any limitations set forth in this First Amendment, City agrees to pay consultant amount specified in Exhibit A, as attached.
Section 3. Continuation of Terms of Agreement. Except as expressly modified by the terms and provisions of this document, the remaining terms and provisions of the Agreement remain in full force and effect.
THE AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVES of the Parties have caused this First Amendment, Agreement No. 2024-12A, to be executed as of the Effective Date.
