Comments Greetings!
Like so many of our Camarillo residents, I am seeking answers regarding the frightening ICE activity in our community. Our beautiful, hardworking friends are being harassed and carted off to who knows where.
•What is Camarillo doing to protect our immigrants?
•What is Camarillo doing to get and keep ICE out?
•What roles are our police officers playing in any ICE presence… are they assisting ICE?
•What are our local businesses doing (ie Home Depot, our hospitals, lodging, churches,Parks and Rec)?
•Are we requiring ICE ID, names, mask removal?
•Are there ICE detention centers in Camarillo/Ventura County? Where are our local detainees being held/sent?
What can Camarillo citizenry do in this crisis situation? We need to be a sanctuary!
