Subject: Adopt a Resolution Exonerating Warranty Securities for the Camarillo Public Library Exterior Painting, AS-2023-5
BACKGROUND
On August 28, 2024, the City Council accepted the public improvements for the Camarillo Public Library Exterior Painting project, AS-2023-5. Work was performed by Perfection Painting Corp.
DISCUSSION
Developers Surety and Indemnity Company Performance/Payment Bonds No. 0102491 in the amount of $99,000 have been held for the required maintenance period and may be exonerated.
FISCAL IMPACT
There is no budget impact as a result of this action.
CEQA DETERMINATIONS
City staff has determined, in accordance with Section 15061(b)(3) of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines, that exonerating warranty securities is not subject to CEQA review because it can be seen with certainty that there is no possibility that exonerating warranty securities has a significant effect on the environment.
RECOMMENDATION
1. Find exonerating warranty securities exempt from review under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Section 15061(b)(3) of the CEQA Guidelines; and
2. Adopt a Resolution exonerating warranty securities for the Camarillo Public Library Exterior Painting, AS-2023-5 with Perfection Painting Corp.
