Subject: Adopt a Resolution Exonerating Warranty Securities for the Camarillo Ranch House Barn Improvements, AS-2023-2
BACKGROUND
On September 11, 2024, the City Council accepted the public improvements for the Camarillo Ranch House Barn Improvements, AS-2023-2. Work was performed by Bodagger Builders.
DISCUSSION
American Contractors Indemnity Company Performance/Payment Bonds No. 100865075 in the amount of $154,125 have been held for the required maintenance period and may be exonerated.
FISCAL IMPACT
There is no budget impact as a result of this action.
CEQA DETERMINATIONS
City staff has determined, in accordance with Section 15061(b)(3) of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines, that exonerating warranty securities are not subject to CEQA review because it can be seen with certainty that there is no possibility that exonerating warranty securities have a significant effect on the environment.

RECOMMENDATION
1. Find exonerating warranty securities exempt from review under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Section 15061(b)(3) of the CEQA Guidelines; and
2. Adopt a Resolution exonerating warranty securities for the Camarillo Ranch House Barn Improvements, AS-2023-2 with Bodagger Builders.
