ORAL COMMUNICATIONS:

Mayor Kildee acknowledged recent public concern and ongoing discussions surrounding the economy. He emphasized that while there is a lot of economic “chatter,” the City of Camarillo continues to manage its finances prudently. With a conservative investment portfolio in place, the City is committed to staying the course, focusing on stability, and doing the best it can under current conditions.

Councilmember Martinez-Bravo has spoken with numerous business owners across the country, particularly restaurant owners, who are experiencing a noticeable decline in customers as a result of recent ICE raids. In light of these concerns, she is asking: How can Councilmembers best support local businesses during this time?

ADJOURN: The meeting adjourned at 9:19 a.m.
