On behalf of kidSTREAM Children’s Museum, I want to thank you and the City of Camarillo for your time and support during our recent site visit. We truly appreciate your continued partnership and for allowing us the opportunity to apply for an FFE Grant by the end of this year.
Attached below is our finalized list of items that will significantly help kidSTREAM towards our goal of opening the museum. Your guidance and collaboration throughout this process have been invaluable as we are preparing to complete this crucial step toward opening the museum.
As you know, our construction phase has recently encountered a significant update regarding the HVAC system. The system requires major upgrades, and we had to move the HVAC installation from Phase II to Phase I to meet operational and safety requirements. This shift has created an unexpected financial strain on our capital budget.
For this reason, the FFE Grant is now more critical than ever. The funding will help offset essential operational costs and ensure that kidSTREAM can continue forward without compromising the quality, safety, and accessibility of the museum experience for our community.
We remain deeply grateful for the City’s ongoing support and partnership in bringing Ventura County’s only children’s museum to life. Thank you again for your leadership, collaboration, and belief in kidSTREAM’s mission to help children explore, play, and discover.
