A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF

CAMARILLO, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING CERTAIN COMMUNITY

DEVELOPMENT ZONING APPROVAL PERMIT FEES
The City Council of the City of Camarillo (“City”) resolves as follows:

SECTION 1. Findings. The City Council finds as follows:

A. The City Council periodically reviews and updates permit fees to ensure alignment with the actual cost of providing services.

B. The City previously established fees for Home Occupation and Cottage Food Operation permits based on the best available cost information at the time of adoption.

C. The City has since conducted an updated review of the administrative and inspection services associated with these permits and has determined that the actual cost of providing such services has changed.

D. Based on the updated analysis described in the staff report accompanying this Resolution, which is incorporated herein by reference, the revised fees adopted by this Resolution do not exceed the estimated reasonable cost of providing the applicable services.

E. The prior fees were lawfully adopted and supported by the information available at the time, and therefore no refunds are warranted.

SECTION 2. Adoption of Revised Fees.

27.Home-Based Cottage Food Permit – $420

A. The following fees will be effective on February 26, 2026:
