TAKE NOTICE, that the City of Camarillo City Council will conduct a public hearing on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at 5:00 p.m., or soon thereafter in the Camarillo City Council Chambers located at 601 Carmen Drive, Camarillo, California, on the following agenda item:
Proposed Zoning Ordinance Amendment to Camarillo Municipal Code Title 19 – Commercial & Industrial Zoning Districts
The City Council will consider an amendment to Title 19 of the Camarillo Municipal Code (“CMC”) regarding zoning requirements, development standards, and development review for commercial and industrial zoning districts. The proposed amendment clarifies development review processes and creates more flexibility for permitted uses and the application of development standards.
The project is exempt from the provisions of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) in accordance with Section 15061(b)(3) of the CEQA Guidelines because it can be seen with certainty that there is no possibility that the proposed amendment to the Camarillo Municipal Code may have a significant effect on the environment.
Any person interested in this matter is invited to attend and provide comments on the proposed action.
If you challenge the proposed action in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues raised at the public hearing or in written correspondence delivered to the City Council at or prior to the public hearing.

You may submit written comments on a specific agenda item at www.cityofcamarillo.org/publiccomment or at City Hall. Comments received by 3:00 p.m. on February 25, 2026, will be distributed to all Council/Board Members prior to the meeting. Written comments received after 3:00 p.m. will be distributed after the meeting.
