Comments Dear Mayor and Members of the City Council,
My name is Shabbir Saifee and I am a resident of Camarillo. I live at 75 Crestview Avenue in Camarillo. I am writing to express my continued support for the proposed car wash project near the new Costco development that was recently approved by the Planning Commission.
Like many residents, I am very excited about the new Costco coming to Camarillo. For years I have shopped at the Costco in Oxnard, and when I go there I often use the car wash at that location as part of the same trip. It has become a normal part of my routine to take care of both things while I am there.
With Costco opening here in Camarillo, it would be great to have the same type of convenience available locally. Having a car wash nearby would allow residents like me to keep our normal 1 shopping habits without having to drive to Oxnard. It would make errands simpler and help keep more of our everyday activities here in Camarillo.
I appreciate the work the Planning Commission has already done reviewing this project, and I hope the City Council will also support it. From a resident’s perspective, this seems like a practical use that fits well with the new Costco and would be convenient for many people in the community.
