Subject: Economic Report by Investment Advisor
BACKGROUND
The City’s Investment Advisor, Chandler Asset Management, Inc. provides a monthly portfolio summary comprised of portfolio characteristics, account summary and top issuers which is included in the monthly investment report. On a quarterly basis, Chandler presents to the Investment Committee an economic update.
DISCUSSION
Jayson Schmitt, Co-Chief Investment Officer with Chandler Asset Management will present the Economic Report to the City Council on April 22, 2026 to provide context for economic conditions during the City’s FY 2026/27 budget development process.
FISCAL IMPACT
There is no budget impact as a result of this action.
RECOMMENDATION
Receive and file verbal presentation.
