CITY OF CAMARILLO PUBLIC NOTICE
AVAILABILITY OF DRAFT FY 2026/27 ACTION PLAN
and PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is hereby given that the City of Camarillo has prepared the Draft 2026/27 Annual Action Plan (Draft AAP) in accordance with U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) requirements to prepare and submit an Annual Action Plan every year as a condition of receiving annual allocations of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program funds.
The Draft 2026/27 Annual Action Plan establishes the programs and activities to be undertaken using CDBG funds during the 2026/27 program year beginning July 1, 2026.
The City anticipates receiving an estimated $345,293 in CDBG funds for the 2026/27 program year. Annual allocations of CDBG funds are subject to change based on federal appropriations and any changes to the HUD grant allocation formulas or data used in the formulas.
Copies of the Draft AAP will be available to the public for review and comment for 30 days beginning on March 22, 2026. The public may view the draft AAP at https://www.ci.camarillo.ca.us/departments/community_development/housing/cdbg.php or may request a physical copy by contacting James Fowler at [email protected] or calling 805.388.5363, or by visiting the City of Camarillo Community Development Department public counter at 601 Carmen Drive, Camarillo, CA 93010.
Individuals wishing to express their views on the AAP in writing may provide those written comments to www.cityofcamarillo.org/publiccomment or at City Hall. Comments received by 3:00 p.m. on April 22, 2026, will be distributed to all Council Members prior to the meeting. Written comments received after 3:00 p.m. will be distributed after the meeting.
Individuals may also provide verbal comments in person by attending the City Council meeting as listed below.

You are invited to attend a public hearing to be held by the City Council to consider the Draft AAP as listed below:

LOCATION: City Hall Council Chambers, 601 Carmen Drive, Camarillo, CA 93010 If you challenge the proposed action in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues that you or someone else raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence, delivered to the City Council at or prior to the public hearing on April 22, 2026.
