I'm still not remotely happy that the City's still allowing its contracted police force, the VCSO, to continue assisting ICE by harassing anyone who dares even try to film ICE agents abusing Camarillans and others in our beautiful city and allowing ICE to come pick its targets up straight from the Ventura County jails upon their release.
I'm also still not remotely happy the City's using OUR taxpayer funds on those whopping 25 Flock ALPR cameras that we
KNOW are sending the images they take of people's vehicles in OUR city to law enforcement agencies all around the country, including ICE.
Ruining our local economy that literally runs on stuff like skilled agricultural labor and racitly inflicting terror on us all that's beyond more than Nuremberg trial-worthy is NOT what I want my taxes paying for.
You still have time to correct course.
As your taxpaying constituent and a lifelong Camarillan I demand you do so.
We the people of Camarillo cannot wait.
