Hello,
My name is Liam Hroziencik, and I am a college student at Cañada College studying environmental science. I am writing in a public comment to express my support for a Make Polluters Pay resolution for the city of Camarillo. While I do not live in Camarillo as a student, I see the importance of MPP. This policy could catapult California forward in reducing the cost of living through programs that help historically redlined neighborhoods update their infrastructure to be not only more environmentally friendly but also healthier.
Countless renovation and climate-preventative projects will be funded by the money MPP raises, which will lower the tax burden on California taxpayers, improve the quality of life, and preserve and sustain California's gorgeous environment for years to come.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Sincerely, Liam H.
