AGREEMENT NO. 2021-122B
SECOND AMENDMENT TO PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT
This Second Amendment to Agreement No. 2021- 122 (Amendment) is entered into between the City of Camarillo, a California general law city and municipal corporation (City), and American Global Security, Inc., collectively referred to as the Parties. The effective date of this Amendment is July 1, 2026.
RECITALS
A. On May 26, 2021, the City Council approved Professional Services Agreement No. 2021-122 with American Global Security, Inc. for nightly Security Guard Services at the Camarillo Public Library in the amount of $185,634.72 for three years, effective July 1, 2021 (Agreement).
B. On May 6, 2024, the City Council approved Amendment No. 2021- 122A with American Global Security, Inc. for an additional two-year term in the amount of $157,340.48.
C. American Global Security, Inc. has provided nightly Security Guard Services at the Camarillo Public Library for the past five years and the Parties desire to extend the term of the agreement as allowed for in the Professional Services Agreement.
D. Pursuant to Section 1 of the Agreement, the parties wish to extend the Agreement for an additional two-year period, commencing July 1, 2026, and terminating June 30, 2028.
E. All capitalized terms not defined in this Amendment have the meaning set forth in the Agreement.
Section 1. Amendment. The Agreement is amended to add the following: Extend the agreement for a two-year period beginning July 1, 2026, and terminating June 30, 2028.
Section 2. Compensation and Payment. This Second Amendment is for a not -to- exceed amount of $164,764.00, for a total agreement amount of $507,739.20.
Section 3. Continuation of Terms of Agreement. Except as expressly modified by the terms and provisions of this document, the remaining terms and provisions of the Agreement remain in full force and effect.
THE AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVES of the Parties have caused this Amendment, Agreement No. 2021-122B, to be executed as of the Effective Date.
