AGREEMENT NO. 2023-36A
FIRST AMENDMENT TO MAINTENANCE CONTRACT
This First Amendment to Agreement No. 2023-36 (“Amendment”) is entered into between the City of Camarillo, a California general law city and municipal corporation (“City”), and Wonderful Things, Inc. dba The Holly Workshop, a California Corporation (“Contractor”), collectively referred to as the “Parties.” The effective date of this Amendment is July 1, 2026.
RECITALS
A. On May 24, 2023, the City Council approved Maintenance Agreement No. 2023- 36 with the Contractor for holiday decoration maintenance services in the amount of $146,000, with estimated annual CPI increases totaling $4,900, and authorized contingency of $14,600, for a total authorized expenditure of $165,500 for a three-year period, effective July 1, 2023 (“Agreement”).
B. All capitalized terms not defined in this Amendment have the meaning set forth in the Agreement.
C. The parties desire to modify the Agreement in accordance with Sections 4.1 and
16.5 of the Agreement.
Section 1. Amendment. The Agreement is hereby amended as follows:
A. The term of the Agreement is extended through June 30, 2027.
B. The Budget Increase Request dated March 27, 2026, attached hereto as Exhibit A, is hereby incorporate and made a part of Exhibit A, Scope of Services.
Section 2. Compensation and Payment. This First Amendment authorizes an increase of $77,470 for the extended one-year period and adds the previously authorized unused contingency amount of $14,600, for a total amended Agreement amount of $238,070.
Section 3. Continuation of Terms of Agreement. Except as expressly modified by the terms and provisions of this document, the remaining terms and provisions of the Agreement remain in full force and effect.
