AGREEMENT NO. 2021-122A FIRST AMENDMENT
FIRST AMENDMENT TO PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT This First Amendment to Agreement No. 2021- 122 (Amendment) is entered into between the City of Camarillo, a California general law city and municipal corporation (City), and American Global Security, Inc., collectively referred to as the Parties. The effective date of this Amendment is May 22, 2024.
RECITALS
A. On July 1, 2021, the City Council approved Professional Services Agreement No. 2021- 122 with American Global Security, Inc., for nightly Library Guard Services in the amount of $185,634.72 for three years, effective July 1, 2021 (Agreement).
B. American Global Security, Inc., has provided nightly Library Guard Services at the Camarillo Public Library for the past three years and the Parties desire to extend the term of the agreement as allowed for in the Professional Services Agreement.
C. Pursuant to Section 1 of the Agreement, the parties wish to extend the Agreement for an additional two-year period, commencing July 1, 2024 and terminating June 30, 2026.
D. All capitalized terms not defined in this Amendment have the meaning set forth in the Agreement.
Section 1. Amendment. The Agreement is amended to add the following:
Extend the agreement for a two-year period beginning July 1, 2024 and terminating June 30, 2026.
Section 2. Compensation and Payment. This First Amendment is for a not -to-exceed amount of $157,341, for a total agreement amount not to exceed $342,976.
Section 3. Continuation of Terms of Agreement. Except as expressly modified by the terms and provisions of this document, the remaining terms and provisions of the Agreement remain in full force and effect.
THE AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVES of the Parties have caused this Amendment, Agreement No. 2021-122A, to be executed as of the Effective Date.
