Subject: Interim Plant Building Improvements (Project No. SS-5076) – Adopt a Resolution Exonerating Warranty Securities
BACKGROUND
On June 11, 2025, the Board of Directors accepted the public improvements and warranty securities for the Interim Plant Building Improvements - Project No. SS-5076 (Project).
The improvements constructed by R2BUILD dba R2B Engineering consisted of furnishing and installing a 36-foot by 60-foot office trailer at the Water Reclamation Plant (WRP) for staff offices and conference rooms.
On February 29, 2024, the Board of Directors adopted a resolution finding the Project exempt from review under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to CEQA Guideline Sections 15301 and 15303.
DISCUSSION
Employers Mutual Casualty Company Performance/Payment Bonds No. S045058 in the amount of $897,000 have been held for the required maintenance period and may be exonerated.
FISCAL IMPACT
There is no budget impact as a result of this action.
RECOMMENDATION
Adopt a CSD Resolution exonerating warranty securities for Interim Plant Building Improvements - Project No. SS-5076 with R2BUILD dba R2B Engineering.
