A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CAMARILLO ESTABLISHING FINES FOR VIOLATIONS OF
THE PARKING SECTIONS OF THE CALIFORNIA VEHICLE
CODE AND TITLE 11 OF THE CAMARILLO MUNICIPAL
CODE
The City Council of the City of Camarillo resolves as follows:
SECTION 1:The City Council of the City of Camarillo finds and declares as follows:
A. WHEREAS, California Vehicle Code (CVC) § 40200 et seq. allows each city to collect fines and penalties for parking violations under civil administrative procedures set forth in the CVC; and
B. WHEREAS, CVC § 40203.5 provides that the schedule of parking penalties for parking violations and late payments shall be established by the governing body of the jurisdiction where the notice of violation is issued; C. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Camarillo that Resolution No. 2026-xx relating to parking fines, fees and surcharges hereby establishes fines for violations of the parking sections of the California Vehicle Code and Title 11 of the City of Camarillo Municipal Code as set forth on the attached Exhibit “A”.
