AGREEMENT NO. 2025-30A
FIRST AMENDMENT TO MAINTENANCE CONTRACT
This First Amendment to Agreement No. 2025-30 (“Amendment”) is entered into between the City of Camarillo, a California general law city and municipal corporation (“City”), and Garcia’s Landscaping Maintenance, Inc., a California Corporation (“Contractor”), collectively referred to as the “Parties.” The effective date of this Amendment is October 1, 2026.
RECITALS
A. On June 11, 2025, the City Council approved Maintenance Agreement No. 2025- 30 with the Contractor for landscape maintenance services in Areas 1-5 in the amount of $5,043,600, with estimated 4% annual CPI increases, for a total authorized expenditure of $5,248,490.16 for a three-year period, effective July 1, 2025 (“Agreement”).
B. All capitalized terms not defined in this Amendment have the meaning set forth in the Agreement.
C. The parties desire to modify the Agreement in accordance with Sections 4.1 and
16.5 of the Agreement.
Section 1. Amendment. The Agreement is hereby amended as follows:
A. Contractor to add new location for bi-weekly landscape maintenance services at 2361 Barry Street; Area 2, Map 51.
B. Contractor to remove maintenance service across from 3220 San Ysidro (planter), Area 1, Map 19, for a contract reduction of $2,604.
C. Landscape maintenance service Estimate dated June 16, 2026, Map, and Approved Landscape attached hereto as Exhibit A, is hereby incorporated and made a part of Exhibit A, Scope of Services.
D. Add $50,000 Contingency to Agreement available to use in all areas.
Section 2. Compensation and Payment. This First Amendment authorizes an increase of $19,332 for added landscape maintenance services, including estimated 4% CPI for Year 3; removal of maintenance Area 1, Map 19, and adds $50,000 as Contingency, for a total amended Agreement amount of $5,315,218.16.
Section 3. Continuation of Terms of Agreement. Except as expressly modified by the terms and provisions of this document, the remaining terms and provisions of the Agreement remain in full force and effect.
THE AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVES of the Parties have caused this First Amendment No. 2025-30A to be executed as of the Effective Date above.
