A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CAMARILLO SANITARY DISTRICT APPROVING FINAL
PAY ESTIMATE AND ACCEPTING IMPROVEMENTS FOR
SEWER IMPROVEMENTS PER SEWER SYSTEM
MANAGEMENT PLAN – PROJECT NO. SS-5043
The Board of Directors of the Camarillo Sanitary District resolves as follows:
SECTION 1:The Board of Directors of the Camarillo Sanitary District finds and declares as follows:
A. On November 13, 2024, a contract was executed by Sancon Technologies, Inc., for Sewer Improvements per Sewer System Management Plan – Project No. SS- 5043.
B. On March 1, 2025, a first amendment to the contract was approved assigning the contract from Sancon Technologies, Inc., to Vortex Services, LLC dba Sancon Technologies.
C. Old Republic Surety Company Performance/Payment Bonds No. 7472562 in the amount of $2,545,220 with two riders, first rider changes Principal from Sancon Technologies, Inc. to Vortex Services, LLC dba Sancon Technologies, and second rider increases the bonds amount from $2,545,220 to $2,672,196.64, was posted to guarantee completion of said improvements and to guarantee improvements for the required maintenance period.
D. The District Engineer has recommended acceptance of said improvements.
SECTION 2:Final Pay Estimate No. 12 is approved and improvements under SS-5043 are accepted and shall be included in the appropriate city system.
SECTION 3:The Chairman of the Board is authorized to sign a Notice of Completion, and the Acting City Clerk is directed to record said Notice in the office of the Ventura County Recorder.
