Comments I do not want surveillance by Flock cameras in my Camarillo neighborhood. The risk of misuse of the surveillance cameras by law enforcement to monitor the activities and lives of citizens is too great of a risk to personal privacy. We no longer have privacy if a coorporation or law enforcement has access to information about our locations and decisions when there is not a need for more targeted investgation based on a possible crime. When Flock is used to detect crime, it cannot be relied upon as it uses generative AI to interpret footage. Interpretative AI utilizes racial biases that reinforce systematic racism when interfacing with crime and will not better assist our law enforcement.
