Tarot and Astrology Workshop
Sunday, October 11 / 12 - 1:30 p.m. / Community Room / Ages 18+ Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) is a celebration to remember family and friends who have passed away. Join us in creating a community ofrenda, which is an offering place to remember past loved ones. Bring in copies of pictures to the 2nd Floor Reference Desk between October 12 and November 1. The ofrenda will be on display in the lobby through November 3. Copies preferred since we cannot guarantee original pictures will be returned.

In this workshop learn a more in-depth meaning to Tarot by using the tool of Astrology.

Rachel Grady will teach attendees how cards are correlated to different planets, aspects and meanings. Astrology and Tarot are both a long time used practice that can help guide in giving perspective into the mundane. Whether you are a first time tarot reader, astrologist or new to both, or just curious this workshop is beginner friendly. This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Camarillo Library.

Test your skills in Corvid knowledge and check out a display from the WFVZ Bird Museum and Research Center. Wearing black, iridescent, or crow-inspired attire will earn you a caw. Registration is encouraged and is the only way to enter the raffle for a “crowy” prize worth strutting about! Must be present to win.
