Camarillo Sanitary District
AGENDA REPORT
Date: October 14, 2026
To: Honorable Chairman and Board of Directors
From: Greg Ramirez, District Manager
Submitted by: Dave Klotzle, Assistant District Manager
Subject: Maintenance Contract with Bay City Equipment Industries, Inc. dba Bay City Electric Works
BACKGROUND
The Camarillo Sanitary District operates six emergency standby generators and six Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS) to maintain wastewater treatment and pumping operations during power outages. Two generators and two ATS units are located at the Water Reclamation Plant, while four generators and four ATS units are located at pump station facilities.
Each generator requires annual minor and major maintenance, and each ATS requires annual maintenance. Routine service helps maintain reliable emergency power, reduces equipment failure risk, and supports uninterrupted operations.
