TITLE: Planning Commissioner Interviews
RECOMMENDED ACTION
That the City Council conduct interviews and appoint one applicant to serve on the Planning Commission for a full four-year term expiring August, 2027.
DISCUSSION
A Special City Council Meeting has been scheduled to interview interested candidates to serve on the Planning Commission. The term of Commissioner Stuart Ching expires August 31, 202 3. Commissioner Ching has re quested reappointment. Commissioner Ching was appointed in 2018 to fill a short term, and then reappointed in 2019 to fill one full term. The City Clerk’s office received two new applications for Council to consider.
The applications and supplemental quest ionnaires submitted by each applicant are attached to this report. 15-minute interviews have been scheduled as follows:
5:30 p.m. Stuart Ching
5:45 p.m. Cori Majewski
6:00 p.m. Frank Nilsen
Following candidate interviews, Council will consider appointm ent of one individual to serve a full four-year term, expiring August 2027.
