RESOLUTION NO. 2022-020
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, CONFIRMING THE MAYORAL APPOINTMENTS OF MEMBERS
OF THE CITY COUNCIL TO THE VARIOUS SUBCOMMITTEE ASSIGNMENTS WHEREAS, Carlsbad Municipal Code Section 2.04.050 and California Government Code Section 40605 require that the Mayor appoint, with City Council concurrence, City Council Members to various subcommittee assignments as listed in Attachment A; and WHEREAS, the City Council shall consider each of the mayoral nominations.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2 That the mayoral appointments to the subcommittee assignments as listed in Attachment A are confirmed for terms ending in December 2022, except for the Legislative Subcommittee assignments, which were confirmed on Jan. 12, 2021 for terms ending December 2022, or until replacements are appointed.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting of the City Council of the City of Carlsbad on the 11th day of January 2022, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Hall, Blackburn, Bhat-Patel, Acosta, Norby.
NAYS: None.
ABSENT: None.
