RESOLUTION NO. 2023-014
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, CONFIRMING THE MAYORAL APPOINTMENT OF A MEMBER OF THE CITY COUNCIL TO THE SAN DIEGO COUNTY WATER AUTHORITY BOARD OF DIRECTORS WHEREAS, California Water Code Appendix Chapter 45, Section 45-6(b) requires that the Mayor appoint, with City Council concurrence, a representative to the San Diego County Water Authority (SDCWA) Board of Directors; and
WHEREAS, SDCWA requests that the appointment be made no later than the first regular City Council meeting in 2023.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, as follows:
1.That the above recitations are true and correct.
2.That the following Carlsbad City Council Member is appointed to the San Diego County Water Authority Board of Directors, for a term ending in December 2023 or until a replacement is appointed:
