RESOLUTION NO. 2023-021
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, APPOINTING ONE MEMBER TO THE PARKS & RECREATION
COMMISSION
WHEREAS, Commissioner Marissa Steketee was appointed to the Parks & Recreation Commission in December 2020, to fill the unexpired term Commissioner Nicole Pearson for a term ending in December 2022; and
WHEREAS, Commissioner Livingston is eligible for reappointment; and WHEREAS, a scheduled vacancy on the Parks & Recreation Commission exists.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carl sbad, California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the following Carlsbad resident is appointed to serve on the Parks & Recreation Commission, for a term ending in December 2026, to coincide with the term of the nominating City Cou ncil Member from District 1, or until a replacement is appointed.
