City Attorney Cindie McMahon read the City Council into Closed Session.
Council adjourned into Closed Session at 3:46 p.m. pursuant to the following:
1.CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL REGARDING INITIATION OF LITIGATION: That the City Council, by motion, authorize a closed session regarding initiation of litigation of one case, pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9(d)(4).

2.CLOSED SESSION REGARDING SECURITY PROCEDURES: That the City Council, by motion and under �overnment Code section 54957, hold a closed session to discuss matters posing a threat to public services or public facilities within the city of Carlsbad with counsel and staff as follows:
