Subject: Approval of Revised 2025 Regular City Council Meeting Calendar Districts: All
Recommended Action
Adopt a resolution approving a revised 2025 Regular City Council Meeting Calendar.

Executive Summary/Discussion
The City Council establishes its regular meeting schedule annually by resolution. Adopting the calendar by resolution meets the requirements of the state’s open meeting law, the Brown Act (California Government Code Section 54954) and provides the City Council the opportunity to increase notification to the public of its scheduled regular meetings.

The City Council adopted the 2025 Regular City Council Meeting Calendar on Oct. 8, 2024. Due to scheduling conflicts, staff are requesting that City Council approve removing the regular meeting scheduled for Tuesday, March 11, 2025, and replacing it with a regular meeting to be held on Tuesday, March 4, 2025.

Fiscal Analysis
There are no significant fiscal impacts that would result from adoption of the attached resolution.

Next Steps
The City Clerk Services Director will distribute the approved calendar to the City Council, staff and local newspapers. In addition, the calendar will be posted on the city’s website.

Environmental Evaluation
This action does not require environmental review because it does not constitute a project within the meaning of the California Environmental Quality Act under California Public Resources Code Section 21065 in that it has no potential to cause either a direct physical change in the environment or a reasonably foreseeable indirect physical change in the environment.
