City Attorney Cindie McMahon read the City Council into Closed Session.
Council adjourned into Closed Session at 4:01 p.m. pursuant to the following:
1. CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL REGARDING REAL PROPERTY: Government Code Section 54956.8:

LOCATION: 2782 State Street
CITY NEGOTIATORS: Gary Barberio, Deputy City Manager, Community Services Anayeli Zavala, Deputy City Attorney

NEGOTIATING PARTIES: Kristianne Kurner, New Village Arts
If circumstances necessitate the absence of a specified designated representative, an agent or designee may participate in place of the absent representative so long as the name of the agent or designee is announced at an open session held prior to the closed session.
Council Action: City Attorney McMahon announced that there was no reportable action.
Mayor Blackburn left the closed session meeting at 4:40 p.m. due to a potential conflict of interest.
2. CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL REGARDING EXISTING LITIGATION: That the City Council, by motion, authorize a closed session regarding existing litigation in the matter of:
Reed, Christopher v. City of Carlsbad, Case No. 37-2024-0001699-CU-PO-NC pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9(d)(1).
Council Action: City Attorney McMahon announced that there was no reportable action.
